One panel of a three part work using a mix of mediums and techniques.

A string was soaked in India ink then pulled between two sheets of Bristol board. The subsequent image was then scanned and used as a base shape. With the addition of two other paintings for texture and paired with an except from "Kon Queso" by the late MF DOOM, one can only speculate where the narrative is going.

'No Luck Like Three Leaf Clovers'

Inspired by the quote, 'troubled waters' are at this woman's front door.

Though, with a raincoat, 'high-water' pants, and cigarette in hand, she begrudgingly accepts the ebbs and flows of life. A light is reflects off the doorstep. Seemingly calming the waters, offering optimism. ...after the rain must come the sun.
